Luck of the Dice: Mystery of the Park

So this particular campaign began with everyone joining up and traveling to the Dream Park and logging into the virtual world creating our characters.

My character was Kallista again, her character has kind of been my go too since she debuted in DnD 5e; she was the wizard of the group and it was my first time attempting that gameplay style ended it with the final fight throwing meteorites at the big bad vampire demon. She even got her raccoon companion because of course she should have a raccoon with her.

During the adventure in the virtual park Kallista was determined to be the Lore Master; meaning she is very smart at figuring out what is going on in the new world that everyone is in. We discovered that there was a man named Mr Dark turning people from children to adults and adults to children giving them a green hughe in their eyes turning them into mindless people.

We found out that there was ghost woman helping him and learned the two of them are part of these Dust People. One of the companions in the group found a block of iron and we learned it hurts the dust people.

With the iron block we defeated the ghost woman. One of the players ended up thinking we needed bait so he tied up Kallista for the team to decide against his idea and free her. Which honestly created some cool building tension between Kallista and this player.

The final fight ended up escalating extremely quickly, Kallista got the ring and tried to wear it to learn more but it ended up taking her over. Her raccoon quickly scrambled onto her hand and bit off her finger removing the ring. 

Thankfully she has First Aid training and was able to stop the blood from pouring out of her hand.

During the final confrontation with Mr. Dark she got a trident from one of the possessed humans and hurled it at Mr. Dark while he was on top of the carousel; which was the machine used to change the people from adults to kids, kids to adults and control them.

But of course I rolled low and the epic throw failed miserably, plus Kallista has very low stats for throwing stuff.

However during the big confrontation her raccoon climbed onto the carousel and put the ring onto the lighting rod on the machine. Lightning struck the rod as everyone was working together to keep the boss on there.

He was obliterated and the entire team survived for another adventure.
